What is it?

After months of having the horrible iTunes genre artwork bug me I checked out a few websites and found out it was relatively easy to make your own with a little bit of XML and file placement.

After a quick think of what to do I guess I bailed out with this simple Helvetica artwork replacements. They work and look nice within iTunes so it’s all good

How Can Do Install It?

I’ve only tested this on OS/X but I’ll presume the method is similar for Windows but I’ve got no idea.

  1. Locate iTunes in Applications and right click > Show Package Contents
  2. Then navigate to Contents > Resources
  3. Unzip the contents of this zip to this folder and re-start iTunes

What Do I Need?

All you’ll need is a well organized libary of tunes and iTunes 8.0 or above.

Some Genres Don’t Have New Artwork

If requests are made for other genres I’ll be happy to whip more covers up and put them in a future release. At the moment though I’m not planning to do anymore unless people ask. This was really a personal thing I just whipped up but if people want other genres I’ll be more than happy to do it. Leave a comment and I’ll get on it.

Where Can I Download This?
