Culture Exchange
6th
February 2009
Here’s a quick poster that I whipped up for a three week project on endangered languages and cultures. Mine is a reversal on Samaritian’s Purse’s own Operation Shoebox were members on the british public send out old toys and such to be sent out for Christmas to areas that can’t afford much. This is a reverse on it were they send stuff about their culture and language over here to be showcased at an event called CulEx.
The idea behind the poster is that the shoebox is a ticket and at full size you can see this easier. Still despite by rushed photoshop onto the box this turned out ok. People I’ve talked to so far seem to think it’s real and a good poster but I’ve been looking at it too long to say.
Anyway enjoy
Snow Wallpaper
2nd
February 2009
Just thought I’d post up a picture I took earlier of the mad snow going on. Apparently it’s like inches deep across most of the UK but down in Falmouth it has been clear skys like all day. Until it started to snow a few minutes ago like it’s hot… or cold as the case may be.
Anyway enjoy
