We just finished up another week project at uni that basically had us designing something around one letter and after toying with many ideas (some of which I would like to go back to) I designed a series of posters that had silent h’s in them. Now I would have loved to have done the h’s in some kind of varnish print but that’s not really feasible at this point in time. Maybe someday.

This is easily the best voting advert to win a laptop ever. If you like Tony Blair is an easy one but Custard Cream or Bourbon, it’s a really close call. Bourbons are basically Oreo’s granfather but Custard Creams are like it’s estranged white cousin.

Custard Cream or Bourbon?

More work OMG! This is a quick mock up for a book cover we had to make for our first week project at uni. The idea behind it is that it’s an autobiography to be sold in the future that will appear to be a book but inside will have it on an old or dead format. For example mini-disc, cassette or in this case film reel.

Just thought I’d post up some nizzle I’ve been working on and this time it isn’t design. I’ve been toying with making mixes for ages but have never really had the time to sink into programs like traktor and that. I remember making a mix ages with Adobe Audition which is an audio editing suite so not really meant for mixes. Nevertheless it came out sounding quite bad.

Anyway I’ve had a few weeks to sit down and get my head around a program called Virtual DJ and it’s pretty good. Shame I’m not good at it but here’s one of the mixes I’ve recorded. Go easy it’s like my 3rd or 4th time playing around with it and it’s my 2nd time recording a mix.
