With the news of GTA 4 being delayed this totally made me think, with my most wanted game gone from this years schedule what is my most wanted game? well I made a list and its quite hard to pick one, so I picked 10 and made an awesome list!
So just to make sure this is the top 10 on 360, I would include Wii, but theirs only a few games I really want on it and I would include Ps3 but I don’t have on. But it works out that a lot of these are Cross-Platform.

So Lets Get Stuck in!

While most people have played Project Gotham Racing 3, Not many people seem excited about Project Gotham Racing 4, The Reason, We havn’t really seen much about it, but what I’ve seen is making me salivate at the lips.
Well from seeing the footage you’ll instantly notice they have some how improved on the graphics from the last installment which as I remember, PGR3 was the first game that really blew me away with how incredible the graphics where on the 360. The main reason the visuals look so smooth would be the various weather effects, which also effect the gameplay, as well as making the game very yummy.
Add Bikes, Video and Picture Sharing, 5 new Race Area & A whole load of new cars and Challenges and you’ve got a Damn attractive racing game. Wheres the hype?

In 2002 a game called Stuntman was released on the Playstation 2 now anyone who played the original knew that it was very similar to marmite, You either loved it or you hated it. This was because it was so damn hard and made you replay a lot of the stunts over and over again until you got it right.
Now in 2007 its gets its long overdue sequel in Stuntman Ignition. They haven’t really changed much apart from the way you can fail scenes, they still offer a good challenge but let you off if you miss one of events, for each miss you’ll get one strike, five strikes and your stuck swearing at the menu.
The main appeal to this is a whole new set of 6 films to go through but it also offers some online, if your still unsure or want to know more the Demo is up on the marketplace and its set for release for the end of this month, which in a month that doesn’t offer much (Bioshock aside) Stuntman Ignition is looking a lot like warmup game to keep you occupied before all the big ones come out.

Pretty much forever the only half decent Skateboarding game you have had has been Tony Hawk’s, which like it or not hasn’t really changed much since the original on the Playstation One.
Now Skate is number eight because it looks interesting and its taking a sport thats ever really been done in a simulation style and doing it a simulation style (I should work on sentence structuring). It’s also taking a different approach in its control scheme with the whole right stick flick controls which sort of relate to the move makes a whole lot of sense, if this makes gameplay better, we will see when it’s released.
I might be the only one in this boat but I wanted Tony Hawk’s to be realistic in a way so you start off and you can’t do much, and Skate seems to be catering to this.
The main reason Skate is on this list because its giving a franchise, thats been around for over 8 years, some real competition for the first time and by taking the theory that competition pushes developers to make better games, this is good news for all sides of the skateboarding camp.

Movie games, Most movie games are pure garbage. Its true most of them are. Stranglehold is a Movie game, but in a totally different way. the movie its based on is John Woo’s 1992 Action Film ‘Hard Boiled’ but is set as a sequel, so all ready the story is totally different. another reason is that John Woo is directing this game, so you know its not gonna ruin the Hard Boiled name and the final reason is that stuff flying everywhere in slow motion is awesome!
This game really speaks for itself when you see a video of it being played, the slow motion, the ridiculously crazy moves you can do, the fact that its basically Max Payne 3 and just how the game looks like incredible fun to play.
The game looks like it would control bad but reports have been that its actually quite easy, with a demo coming out in under a weeks time this one could be a big hit for Midway.

Taking an established franchise and making such a big change is always risky. Call Of Duty, the world war 2 first person shooter is finally taking a big risk.
Its moving from World War 2 to the present day. in the progress making a completely new storyline to follow, which personally is the best thing they could have done, yeh Call Of Duty 3 was good as it stuck in one place but it was the same as the first two but with less variety. Now it doesn’t have to follow the history books, Call of Duty just got exciting again.
My only problem is that if the main gameplay is going to change or if its gonna be here are 3 turrets blow them up. Either way its already looking like one of the best games of the year and its still got the team of the first two Infinity Ward behind it, so I trust them.
This and their showing at the Microsoft E3 Press conference was just stunning.
Thats it for today, Check back later for the top 5. Leave a comment in the box below to let me know what you think. Thanks

I’m totally vouching for Skate, if there’s a game that keeps me interested in my 360 that’s probably it… that and being totally raped by the stats in Blue Dragon, good-old RPGs. Also looking forward to playing C.O.D.4, The other day I was busting out the original on my mac (cos that’s pretty much all a OS X can play) and that game is mad fun. If I can get over my phobia of FPSs on a console and enjoy it like Vegas which IMO is how an FPS on a console SHOULD be, less run and gun, more tactical peering out from corners.
Great rundown! Looking forward to the top 5!
